My 18 year old son & (what were left of) his mates went. He also was blown away by the spirit of the event. I was so happy to hear him relate what it was like to be part of a group that all just wanted freedom and their basic human rights. He said people were all happy and so friendly. He told me of a man who fell out of his van's rooftop tent and broke his arm. Everyone rushed to help him. There was no showing of vax certificates, no testing before treatment, no masks - just people looking after one another. I don't think he wanted to return home!
I’m not sure ... he said he spoke to so many people. I’m not sure if they were Elders or not though, sorry. Unfortunately, during the event he got horrendously burned. The media said everyone got "sunburn" (although I’m really not convinced it was, as it only happened when he went on the march to Parliament House). I’m crossing my fingers it leaves him with no long term damage.
Sorry to hear about the burns. It seems a lot of people were affected & who knows whether it was deliberate or not. I recall a Senator asking about this during a committee hearing, but as usual the authorities weren't willing to disclose any real information.

Did you get to speak or interact with any of the Elders that were there at that time?
It is shameful how the authorities conspired to harass, coerce, attack, or move on all the human beings who gathered there.
