In the midst of the spontaneous occupation of Canberra by more than a million people in February 2022, inspired by the Canadian truckers ( who were dealing with the Maple Leaf branded mafia boss for the Mr Global mobsters)
Canberra was over-run with freedom-loving and freedom proclaiming Aussies.
Outside of the campsites and protests, in the small captured city of Canberra was a bleak preview of the world big brother has planned for us. Part “ The Stepford Wives”
and part James Bond’s Spectre. All with a kangaroo and a cuddly koala.
Observing how, without any government “help” (the less the better), just Aussies looking after each other. Food, cooking, and all matter of logistic support just spontaneously came from the people, I witnessed it with awe, the military could not have done better.
Just people of goodwill. People who knew the social contract had been torn to shreds.
People who believed the government existed to serve the people, not the other way around. Those discriminated against, those who had lost their jobs or their businesses, sometimes everything.
Aussies (including many wonderful Canberra residents) just wanted to help the oppressed class, because after all, isn’t that in reality ALL of us?
How many of us have not experienced loss of closeness, if not outright loss, of family, or friends. At the camps and at the protests we were all friends, united in our desire to live a life of freedom, with bodily autonomy which one could define as: (free from government sponsored rape or assault.)
Anyway, I captured a performance artist. Don’t know his name but the tune:
“because I complied” was recorded at Epic camp while sitting out with Michael Gray Griffith one night in that environment of joy and freedom. It was a classic moment.
Consider supporting my work, it will be much appreciated:
Here’s a freedom QR code:
My 18 year old son & (what were left of) his mates went. He also was blown away by the spirit of the event. I was so happy to hear him relate what it was like to be part of a group that all just wanted freedom and their basic human rights. He said people were all happy and so friendly. He told me of a man who fell out of his van's rooftop tent and broke his arm. Everyone rushed to help him. There was no showing of vax certificates, no testing before treatment, no masks - just people looking after one another. I don't think he wanted to return home!
Did you get to speak or interact with any of the Elders that were there at that time?
It is shameful how the authorities conspired to harass, coerce, attack, or move on all the human beings who gathered there.
