Thanks for the reminder about my freedom, as I was one of those completely hoodwinked and terrorised, and confined and masked up all 2020 - I would have been a good little budgie except for my previous life as a biologist-geneticist: the rat started to smell bad when it became apparent they were going to use the stoopidest idea for a "vaccine" ever! I (and I hope many others) defied the whole mask/lockdown protocols as much as possible. I've never been one to just "do what you're told" (much to my parents dismay, no doubt) unless the reason behind it is explained and makes sense. None of the rules made sense to me and there was certainly no logic behind them. The stupid restaurant rules, the QR check ins and yes, the unbelievably stupid outdoor rules. My biggest concern was how quickly most people fell into line without question and felt they had the right to verbally (and in the case of some police) physically abuse anyone who didn't. I just hope if anything like that happens again (and I hope not), people will stop for a minute and think. Not blindly believe what the politicians or TV tells them.
