The government is normalising the use of drugs to facilitate COVID vaccination in those who DO NOT CONSENT.

32 years in anaesthetics, I've seen my fair share of "needle phobia"...but ATAGI, that's not what is going on here!

ATAGI advice on the use of sedation for covid-19 Vaccination:

"The process of administering a vaccine (i.e. giving an intramuscular injection) may cause severe anxiety in some individuals with anxiety disorders or needle-phobia, and/or may be difficult in certain individuals with behavioural disorders"

I would have thought the risk of death and permanent disability, myocarditis, neurological injury, reproductive injury etc... would be enough to produce severe anxiety in any rational individual, after recieving full and informed consent.

As an anaesthetist for over 30 years, I have seen my fair share of “needle-phobia” and yes, there are non pharmacological techniques which, with skill and patience are often very successful.

It is disingenuous to put this "severe anxiety" down to needle-phobia. In fact it is a lie. A very dangerous lie and in a world where they merely pay lip service to the principles of informed consent, it is, in fact, terrifying.

How far are we from calling non compliance with government vaccination policy a “behavioural disorder”?

On Australian Government letterhead, this is the nod and a wink to normalise the giving of sedation to people, who, would not, voluntarily, comply.

I have questions about who does, or “does not have capacity to give consent” and who are the decision makers in all this?

Who is the substitute decision-maker? Will they uphold the religious and other deeply held beliefs of their anxious, behaviourally disordered charges?

Why are we still giving a drug which is clearly, the most dangerous “vaccine” in history and rather than stopping it, the government is doubling down.

I take no comfort from the line “Sedation should not be used to enforce compliance with vaccination requirements.” ….

Maybe if it said “Sedation must not, under any circumstance be used as a measure to enforce compliance with vaccination requirements” … but the words “vaccination requirements” are the root of the problem.

There are no medical grounds for a “vaccination requirement” especially now that it’s clear as day that this “vaccine” does not prevent the very disease it is said to be given for. Make no mistake, in this document the government is normalising the use of drugs to facilitate COVID vaccination in those who DO NOT CONSENT.

Every Australian should be deeply concerned.
